MY VISIONARY DESCRIPTION OF MY LIFE IN 2015 when I HAVE ACHIEVED MY GOALS

December, 2015

Take a look at him. There sits Tito in his favorite chair on the deck of his first house, overlooking the hills in a suburb just east of L.A. And, here comes his wife Julie with a cold one for him and glass of lemonade for her. Who would have guessed way back in late fall of 2008 when he put together his Growth Plan that so much of it would have come true just as he planned that it would.

Tito really feels good about himself these days. He's just completed his first year teaching math in a largely Latino high school in L.A.. He is even one of the two assistant soccer coaches. "It sure feels good helping young people getting started in life," he said to Julie as they kicked back, reflecting on everything that has happened in the last couple of years.

Graduation from the U. a year ago in June was something special. Tito's parents, brother and sister made it all the way from Mexico City, and Julie's parents came from Chicago. Then came the wedding this past Christmas in Chicago, the job interviews in L.A., and finally scraping up enough money to buy their first home. What a year!!

Tito really feels good about all that he's accomplished in a few short years. In addition to the college degree, teaching and coaching positions, new wife and home, he's now even closer to his parents and brothers and sisters back home in Mexico, exercices regularly, watches his weight, goes to mass almost every Saturday evening, volunteers at the Latino Youth Club in L.A., keeps in touch with his Latino college buds, and even occasionally gets away on Sundays to hang-glide.

Just as important, Tito has toughened up personally, not taking things so personally, being more assertive with his ideas, and even volunteering for leadership roles at school and in the Latino community.

Life just simply can't get much better for Tito these days!!

MY BARRIER ANALYSIS

My Biggest Barrier to Achieving My GoalsWhat I Will Do to Overcome This Barrier
NOT FOCUSING - NOT HITTING THE BOOKS - NOT BEING DISCIPLINED!! I need to simply put in the time to keep my grades up so I can transfer and graduate from the U with grades good enough to get a good coaching position.

Start hanging around more with a crowd that gets the job done ... and possibly get a study-buddy to help me in my tough courses.
